Game of Thrones prequel about Aegon the Conqueror in early stages at HBO

Aegon the Conqueror at HBO

Attention, Game of Thrones fans! Exciting news has been revealed by Variety
HBO is currently in talks to develop a brand new prequel spinoff series based on Aegon the Conqueror
Although still in the early stages of development, the project is being actively considered by HBO and Warner Bros, with the possibility of a feature film component as well
While nothing is set in stone at present, the prospect of exploring Aegon's Conquest on both the big and small screen is incredibly thrilling for fans

Aegon's Conquest is the basis for the beginning of George R.R. Martin's book Fire & Blood, and it chronicles the start of Targaryen rule over Westeros, occurring 300 years before the events of Game of Thrones
The spinoff would explore how Aegon I Targaryen and his sisters Rhaenys and Visenya used their dragons to conquer six of the seven kingdoms of Westeros
Notably, Dorne was the only kingdom to resist their rule. Aegon's Conquest is rife with iconic moments from the Game of Thrones universe, such as the creation of the Iron Throne, the burning of
Harrenhal, and the Field of Fire

don't miss to follow the night king on youtube

HBO has been careful with its approach to Thrones spinoffs in the past, but after the success of last year's House of the Dragon
it seems that the network is more open to exploring additional Targaryen stories
While it remains to be seen whether the Aegon spinoff will be greenlit, fans can look forward to the possibility of seeing Balerion the Black Dread, the largest dragon in Westerosi history,
onscreen. As this story develops, stay tuned for updates

The Night's Queen

There were no female White Walkers ever seen in Game of Thrones but, based on a story from the   books, there could have been a Night's Queen The Night King and his army of the dead may have become Game of Thrones' major villains, but the show cut the only known female White Walker from the books. Revealed on screen in Game of Thrones season 1, episode 1's ice-cold open, before any major characters had even appeared, the White Walkers gradually became a bigger part of the story.  That will be true in the books as well - right from George R.R. Martin's original outline for A Song of Ice and Fire, the Others (his preferred name for them) were the looming threat that would fully emerge towards the end Still the TV adaptation of Martin's novels did make some big changes to the Others, not least with Game of Thrones inventing the Night King.  The mysterious leader of the White Walkers was once a human, turned into the icy creature by the Children of the Forest, thoug...
