House Of The Dragon: Leaked Tape Contains Scandalous Dialogues Between Daemon And THIS Character
Season 2 of “House of the Dragon” will soon enter production. The writing team is currently completing the scripts and planning out how the rest of the season will go. Also, as per a leaked audition tape, it looks like the show has begun auditioning for various parts, like the role of Alys Rivers. And the leaked tape contains some very interesting dialogues with Daemon Targaryen
The Westerosies twitter account posted two clips of a leaked audition tape. It was “1899” actress Emily Beecham auditioning for the role of Alys Rivers
In the books by George R.R. Martin, Alys is a witch who is well versed in potions and magic, but saying that to Daemon and his army will spell doom for her. So her teasing Daemon and being vague with him about herself makes sense
In the clips we hear dialogues that would have been spoken by Daemon Targaryen. Alys Rivers taunts him about serving a woman and questions his place in the Targaryen family. She tries to antagonize him and attempts to sow seeds of doubt in his mind
As such, if these are the official dialogues given for the audition process, it could imply a lot of things. At one point in the clip, Alys mentions Daemon and Rhaenyra having a fight which resulted in him coming here. Alys seems quite flirtatious with Daemon and it seems like she’s trying to taunt and yet seduce him
She further talks to him about his plans for feeding his men. He assures peace and sounds sure that he will win the battle, but if he doesn’t he says that he will die and won’t have to bother about any of it. It could be foreshadowing his future since we know that he and Caraxes will die fighting Aemond Targaryen and Vhagar
However, it’s doubtful that the dialogues that were used for audition purposes will be used in the show. Also, the chances of Emily Beecham getting the role of Alys Rivers is doubtful even though fans seem to be loving her rendition of the character
This is because her audition tapes have been leaked. And historically, productions don’t prefer such dialogues and such to get leaked
Who ultimately gets chosen for the role, remains to be see
